This course provides students the opportunity to participate in activities requiring teamwork and cooperation. Activities emphasize physical fitness, individual and dual sports, as well as team sports. Health education topics include Body Systems, Physical Health, Disease Prevention, Health Promotion including Nutrition and Physical Activity, Safety and Injury Prevention, Social/Emotional/Mental Wellness, Violence Prevention and Healthy Relationships, Substance Abuse Prevention, and Community/Environment Health.
