Grant High School – Neurodiversity and Self Advocacy

NDSA is a support class for students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)who have a neurodivergent profile. Learning Center teachers provide access to specially designedinstruction in study skills, organizational skills, self-advocacy, technology, communicating acrossneurotypes, and college and career readiness. We help connect with resources in the building andcommunity to support their academic success and interests. NDSA is a place for students to: connectwith their case manager, receive direct instruction on their IEP goals, and get support around generaleducation classes and assignments. NDSA also provides context and support in understanding Autismand Neurodiversity.
Prerequisites: Individualized Education Plan
