Have you taken Photography: Beginning 1-2? Do you want to push yourphotography skills further by learning cool new techniques and taking creative risks? Do you want toplay with a variety of different types of cameras and film sizes? Then this is the place for you! Thisclass concentrates on more complex photographic processes and projects including: improving yourphoto quality, developing your personal style, and creating your website and portfolio. Evaluation isbased on in-class activities and critiques, work produced, and the quality of that work. You willcontinue to learn more about the manual function of the camera and how to manipulate the settingsto achieve better photos. You wil also work with many different photographic techniques on bothdigital and film cameras such as: working with medium format cameras, development and scanning ofvarious film sizes, manipulation and editing of analogue and digital photos in Adobe's Lightroom, longterm photo projects, you will have the opportunity to compete in the annual Scholastic ArtCompetition, along with other photo competition opportunities. And, as always, you will be gradedon your growth in the class, and not how your work measures up to the work of others.
