Choir:Tenor/Bass (aka Men's Ensemble) is a non-auditioned vocal musical class fortenor and bass voices. Previous vocal experience is not required. The class will focus on developingvocal tone, learning to sing in an ensemble setting, becoming familiar with various vocal repertoire,showmanship, and basic elements of music theory/history. Students will perform concertsthroughout the year featuring pieces of many different styles such as popular, folk, classical, and jazz.Men's Ensemble is a fun, exciting, and supportive environment for anyone who loves music andwants to be part of an amazing community. Snazzy bow ties to be provided!

Prerequisites: Audition

Grades: 11-12Course Description: Choir: Chamber - Mix (aka Royal Blues) is an advanced, auditioned, chamber choirof equal soprano, alto, tenor, and bass voices. The Royal Blues perform up to as many as 50 times ayear perfecting all style horal music whic include classical, madrigals, popular, jazz, gosel,olk,and experimental. Advanced vocal tone/production, sight reading skills, thorough musical literacy,advanced listening skills, and performance ensemble skills are required. Royal Blues are a highlysought after group, performing for various state and local functions throughout the year and thuspersonal dedication, commitment, and scholarship are required. Students selected for this choir arealso co- enrolled in A Cappella. Students provide their own formal attire.
