Grandview High School – Weight Training & Personal Fitness

This introductory course is designed to teach various weightlifting techniques with an emphasis on form, safety, and spotting. Depending on the student’s ability level for any given movement, there will be beginner, intermediate, and advanced options daily. Students will be exposed to various aspects of lifting programs and techniques from shape and tone to power and strength training. Each class will cover a cardiovascular/agility component daily. Students will learn about basic nutrition, anatomy, and physiology.
