build on previous experience with the fundamentals of music technology and sound engineering to integrate their knowledge of traditional musical elements with past and current technologies used to capture, create, mix, and present music. They explore the creative and aesthetic implications of music technology and sound engineering through class work. Graded public performances may serve as a resource for specific instructional goals. Students may be required to attend one or more performances outside the school day to support, extend, and assess learning in the classroom which lead to a grade. This course will meet the graduation requirement for Performing Fine Arts graduation credit.
