This course introduces students to cybersecurity terminology, history, culture, and trends, mitigation of vulnerability and risk, access control models, methods of authentication, types of attacks and actions to mitigate risk, security, remote access technologies, email security concepts, internet security concepts, directory security concepts, file transfer protocols and concepts, wireless technologies and concepts, cryptographic algorithms, cryptography and digital signatures, PKI, key management, and certificate life cycles.
