of this course is to develop the physical skills necessary to be competent in many forms of movement as it relates to power weight training. The integration of health and fitness concepts, correct performance techniques, muscular strength and endurance, anatomy of muscles, rules, history and terminology of musculoskeletal system and exercises, more complex exercises, techniques and equipment, personal fitness assessment, nutrition, consumer issues, injury prevention and safety, and the benefits of participation; including designing, implementing and evaluating a weight training program.
