with prior choral or vocal instruction focus on developing skills to perform high-quality literature with singers in a similar vocal range. Through two- and three-part music, students build musicianship and choral ensemble skills. Public performances may serve as a culmination of specific instructional goals. Students may be required to attend and/or participate in rehearsals and performances outside the school day to support, extend, and assess learning in the classroom which lead to a grade. Suggested grading guidelines can be found in the Collier County Public Schools Secondary Grading Manual. This course will meet the graduation requirement for Performing Fine Arts graduation credit.
