Golden Gate High School – Chorus Register- Specific 1

in this entry-level class focus on the rehearsal, performance, and study of high-quality music literature for singers of a similar voice range. As they address the technical needs of singers in a specific range of notes, they learn beginning music theory, musicianship, and choral performance skills. Public performances may serve as a culmination of specific instructional goals. Students may be required to attend and/or participate in rehearsals and performances outside the school day to support, extend, and assess learning in the classroom which lead to a grade. Suggested grading guidelines can be found in the Collier County Public Schools Secondary Grading Manual. This course will meet the graduation requirement for Performing Fine Arts graduation credit.
