I find that if students feel they are listened to and heard, this allows them to feel encouraged. Two of my favorite areas to teach are EFL and history. I enjoy teaching EFL because language learning can open doors to new opportunities and cultural understanding, while history and political science are deeply connected to my career in human rights advocacy. I also have a passion for art history, having studied painting and drawing in college for three years. My teaching philosophy centers on being flexible and adaptive to the needs of my students.
