A program providing students with opportunities for learning, creativity, and expression through music. Music is used as a universal language to reach individuals in ways traditional approaches may not. The program is tailored to accommodate special-needs students of all disability levels. Activities include listening, singing, movement activities, and playing rhythm instruments. The curriculum reinforces monthly themes and lessons being taught by classroom teachers. Uses augmentative communication devices and adapted equipment and instruments. Classes offered once a week, every other week.
