Gateway Education Center – School Age Adaptive Curriculum

A specialized instructional program following the North Carolina Extended Content Standards or Adapted Curriculum for students ages 5 through 22 with cognitive, medical, physical, and developmental disabilities. Includes adapted lessons, sensory experiences, and gross motor activities with focus on communication, self-help, independence, social-emotional, and motor skills development.
Prerequisites: Qualification for placement in a Public Separate School setting as determined through IEP process
Grades: Elementary through High School (Ages 5-22)
