Garinger High School – AP Drawing

This course follows the outline as provided by the College Board Advanced Placement Program. Students will develop an advanced drawing technique and conceptual portfolio of works of art and process documentation that demonstrate sustained investigation through practice, experimentation, and revision and works that each demonstrate synthesis of materials, processes, and ideas. Students will engage in critiques of their own and peers' art, as well as discuss and write about their art. Students must be self-motivated and exhibit perseverance in completing their portfolio. Prerequisite: Teacher Recommendation and Visual Arts Proficient. # AP 2-D ART AND DESIGN This course follows the outline as provided by the Advanced Placement Program.
