G.A. Treakle Elementary – Basic Jewelry Design and Construction

This course covers the historical as well as contemporary approaches to jewelry design and construction. Emphasis is placed on a multicultural approach to design. The course includes a variety of construction and casting methods and materials, and surface treatments such as cloisonné, embossing, and engraving. The completion of Art I prior to this course may be helpful.
Prerequisites: Art I Recommended
