Prerequisites: Develop language skills in the range of intermediate mid-high level of profi ciency. Engages students with a broad range of texts, stimuli and scenarios that address topics of personal, local or national and global signifi cance. There are fi ve prescribed themes: identities, experiences, human ingenuity, social organization and sharing the planet. In addition, the study of two literary works is required at higher levels. The course prepares students for the IB exams.
