Recognition program for students demonstrating high academic achievement

Tutoring sessions offered three days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday) from 3:45-4:45 pm from October through April. Focus on English Language Arts (ELA) and Math. Students work in 12:1 settings with their classroom teachers. Invitational for students identified with specific academic growth needs.

Standards-based learning program where students engage in individualized reading practice. Part of the Independent Reading initiative that builds language skills, expands vocabulary, and strengthens analytical and critical thinking skills. Students read 10-15 books per school year and are assessed through reading journals and digital platforms.

Core academic subject focused on reading, writing, and communication skills aligned to Common Core National Standards and Tennessee Academic Standards. Part of the rigorous, college preparatory curriculum.
