Musical Theater Pit Orchestra is an auditioned/by-invitation group open to 9th - 12th grade instrumentalists. The group gives students the unique opportunity to provide the musical background for the actors and singers in the Musical Theater course. The material that young artists learn and perform in this course comes from Broadway shows and thus is at a professional level. There is a once-weekly after school rehearsal for the majority of the semester, and additional after school commitments as the show enters the production phase.
