Prepare for flight school with real pilot skills! Private Pilot Ground School presents aeronautical knowledge for student pilots focused on the Cessna C-172 Skyhawk and its systems and instruments, basic aerodynamics, aircraft performance, the flight environment, communication procedures, Federal Aviation Regulations, navigation, weather, and aeromedical factors. This course will prepare the student for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Private Pilot Airplane knowledge examination, a requirement to become a certified Private Pilot. Students will be able to master flying skills such as takeoffs, landings, and performance maneuvers to the proficiency of Airmen Certificate Standards (ACS).
