Grade 12G24H23 French III Honors - This course’s ACTFL Performance Goal of Intermediate Mid means that by the end of the course students will be able to successfully handle a variety of uncomplicated communicative tasks in straightforward social situations. Conversation is limited to those predictable and concrete exchanges necessary for survival in the target culture. Students will be able to express personal meaning by creating with the language, in part by combining and recombining known elements and conversational input to produce responses typically consisting of sentences and some strings of sentences. Their language use is framed in the present time but may contain references to other time frames. Comprehension is most often accurate with highly familiar and predictable topics although misunderstandings may occur.
