½ credit Students explore myths from various cultures. Students participate in collaborative learning activities to understand how the myths are reflected in the literature, customs, architecture, and religion of the ancient and modern cultures. Students will continue to develop reading and writing skills, critical and creative thinking skills and strategies. This course does not cover the breadth and depth of the Mythology course. This course is designed to facilitate learning outcomes appropriate to the student's instructional needs as documented in the Individualized Education Plan (IEP). This course DOES NOT meet the state graduation requirements.

Prerequisites: Students who qualify for the Alternate Standards in grades 11 and 12.
