This two-semester course is an in-depth study of skills learned in Precision Machining I, with a stronger focus on CNC setup/operation/programming. Students will be introduced to two axis CNC lathe programming and three axis CNC milling machine programming. Develops the theory of programming in the classroom with applications of the program accomplished on industry-type machines. Studies terminology of coordinates, cutter paths, angle cutting, and linear and circular interpolation.
