Fairmont Heights High – Java Theory and Practice

This course engages students with little programming experience to create Java programs. Students are introduced to object-oriented programming concepts, terminology, and the steps required to create Java programs using the Alice, Greenfoot, and Eclipse interactive development environments. Students will learn the concepts of Java programming, standard algorithms, data structures, and design object-oriented applications with Java. Students will also create Java programs using hands-on engaging activities.
