Fairmont Heights High – Child Growth and Development Internship
Mar 2026 · 2nd Semester
This two- to four-credit course focuses on careers and cooperative work experience that prepares students for the transition from school to work. Field experience is with young children in the community. Students continue to develop their Child Development 1 and 2 portfolios and may be eligible to receive articulated college credit from a local college, as well as, earn the 90 Clock Hour Certification.
Prerequisites: Grade 12; good attendance; successful completion of Child Development 2 and teacher approval
