The topics covered in Honors Applications of Technology are closely aligned with those taught in Applications of Technology. However, the material is covered with greater mathematical and physics sophistication, and students are expected to synthesize concepts in multiple step problems and projects. The course is intended to provide a strong foundation for students who go on to study Physics and engineering at the Advanced Placement and college level. In order to be recommended for Honors Applications of Technology, a student must have demonstrated solid work habits and concept mastery in their freshman and Sophomore math, science, and engineering courses. Concurrent enrollment in Honors Math and Physics is a requirement.
