Eastern Guilford High – Honors Accomplished Technical Theatre

This course is an introduction to theatrical building theories and technique. It requires the use of hand and power tools. Students will learn the proper way to design theatrical sets, lights, makeup, sound, and costumes. Students will also learn the technical side of Theatre in set construction, scenic painting, electrical maintenance and wiring, and costume construction. Students may be expected to attend after school rehearsals and performances where participation is a required and graded portion of the course.
