Eastern Guilford High – Video Production Intermediate

In this continuation of Video Production Beginning, students will focus on field productions, editing/special effects, and directing/producing. Students will work more independently recording video in and out of class as they move from proficiency to mastery in producing professional broadcastquality projects. Previous performance in Military Science (JROTC) courses and teacher recommendation should be considered in course selection. JROTC courses offer classroom activities and related experiences for the participants to acquire the knowledge, skills, self– discipline, sense of responsibility, and respect for constituted authority that better prepare them for the future. Classes offer academic challenges, practical leadership experience, physical training, and training in drill and ceremony. Although there are specific grooming requirements when wearing the issued uniform, no military service obligation is incurred from participation in JROTC courses. For students whose assigned school does not offer a JROTC program, parents may apply through the GCS Choice Schools Application. Enrollment in JROTC is entirely voluntary, and students must independently elect to enroll by registering for the course.
