Eastern Guilford High – Developing Band

This course gives students the opportunity to further develop their music reading skills and performance technique on wind or percussion instruments. The class will study and perform many types of band literature in concerts, contests, and festivals. Students may be expected to attend after school rehearsals and performances where participation is a required and graded portion of the course.
Prerequisites: Novice and/or Proficiency Assessment
Grades: 9, 10, 11, 12
