Durham School of the Arts – Honors Latin V (12455)

A major focus of Latin V is on reading authentic Latin texts which includes a more in-depth study of literature and grammar. Students will study figures of speech, analyze what they read, write essays, create a comprehensive project, and study the influence of GrecoRoman culture throughout the world. Students will learn on the Intermediate Mid & Intermediate High Levels of language proficiency according to the North Carolina World Language Essential Standards.
Prerequisites: Honors Latin IV or Proficiency Assessment Results
