AP African American Studies is an interdisciplinary course that examines the diversity of AfricanAmerican experiences through direct encounters with authenticand varied sources using a College Board approved syllabus thatfollows the College Board Course and Exam Description (CED).Given the interdisciplinary character of African Americanstudies, students in the course will develop skills across multiplefields, with an emphasis on developing historical, literary, visual,and data analysis skills.
