SCHEDULE FULL YEAR. This course will introduce students to ahistorical overview of the role and importance of musicthroughout history and various cultures. Students will beintroduced to the fundamentals of music, musical styles andperiods and genres. The composers, performers and their musicwill be Course Offerings 102 studied in relation to historical,political, social and religious events. Students may be required tocomplete class projects and attend concerts out of school time.
