Foundations of Cybersecurity may serve as an introductory coursein this field of study. Students will develop the knowledge andskills needed to explore fundamental concepts related to theethics, laws, and operations of cybersecurity. Students willexamine trends and operations of cyberattacks, threats, andvulnerabilities. Students will review and explore security policiesdesigned to mitigate risks and enforce laws, investigativetechniques, and criminological theories applicable to computercrime. The skills obtained in this course prepare students foradditional studies in cybersecurity.
