Credit: 1 unit This course provides students with hearing impairments individualized instruction in the development of language (English) and vocabulary. Instruction will focus on oral/signed academic and social language development, writing, literacy, grade-specific needs and strategies. Students will learn to implement strategies to repair identified communication breakdowns. Students will use language skills to effectively advocate for his/her academic and social needs within the school and community. SPECIAL TOPICS IN MATHEMATICS-I
