Prerequisite: Dance I Credit: 1 unit This course provides instruction in ballet technique and choreographic principles and is aligned to the Standard Course of Study dance curriculum at the beginning level. While emphasis will be placed on the development of ballet technique, students will also study ballet history, contemporary styles, and noted performers.
