Disney II Magnet High School – Beginning Choir

This non-auditioned choir is taught at an introductory level. Students begin to learn how to read music as well as compose rhythms and short melodies. Basic understanding of piano skills is also taught at this level. Students also learn to sing music from unison to three part splits from a variety of time periods and styles. Vocal skill building is focused on matching pitch, building part independency, and vocal flexibility. Students will have a minimum of two choral performances for a grade, on
