Full-time post-secondary students enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours and a maximum of 16 credit hours during fall and spring semesters. Courses must be chosen from the Florida Department of Education Articulation Coordinating Committee Statewide Agreement for Dual Enrollment Courses and must simultaneously meet high school graduation requirements and PHSC degree requirements. Students work toward earning an Associate of Arts (AA) degree while completing high school.

Prerequisites: Minimum cumulative unweighted high school GPA of 3.0; satisfactory scores on common placement tests (ACT, ACCUPLACER, Classical Learning Test, PERT, Digital SAT, or SAT) that place the student into MAT1033 and ENC 1101; meeting stated pre-requisites or co-requisites for specific individual courses; written approval from a parent/legal guardian, high school representative, and PHSC academic advisor; Pasco County residency; and enrollment in Dayspring Academy's Early College Academy
