This course will emphasize the principles of planning, organizing,staffing, directing, and controlling the management of a varietyof food service operations. The course will provide insight intothe operation of a well-run restaurant. Introduction to CulinaryArts will provide insight into food production skills, various levelsof industry management, and hospitality skills. This is an entrylevel course for students interested in pursuing a career in thefood service industry. Lab supply fee.
