This course provides students the opportunity to study, create, perform, evaluate, and understand various dance skills, styles, and periods and/or complete a concentration in dance studies to prepare them for further education and/ or a career in dance Theatre Arts Students in grades 9-12 are encouraged to develop an understanding of theatre in relationship to themselves, their community, and other communication media. Students will also explore theatre as an art form, as a career possibility, and as entertainment. Critical thinking and collaboration are key elements of Theatre Arts.
