This class is a required basic introduction to technology to prepare students for lifelong learning and adapting to change in technological society as well as introducing them to the use of information technology for education, employment, and personal use. Real-world application software such as word processing, spreadsheet, database and telecommunications are stressed. Additional learning will include career and consumer awareness.
