Curie Metropolitan High School – Journalism II (Honors)

This is an accelerated class geared for students who are seriously considering print, TV, or radio journalism as a career option. Students will acquire and hone skills in producing fact-gathering information through research and interview techniques for mass media coverage and layout design. Implementation of acquired knowledge will be applied to producing student generated TV news coverage and news broadcasting. Journalism II is an elective and an excellent course for an apprentice journalist seeking to further pursue a college or other post-education major in communication/journalism.
