Curie Metropolitan High School – Journalism I (Honors)

This class is designed for students who are interested in producing and publishing acquired knowledge in the school newspaper, Curie-osity and its fine ares supplement magazine, Curio. Students will develop and none fact-gathering and layout procedures, techniques in writing news stories, editorials, special features and headlines. Journalism is an elective and an excellent course to have appear on a college or other post-high school education application.
Prerequisites: Teacher approval plus TAP score of 65 or higher and "B" average or above in English , regular or honors.
