Curie Metropolitan High School – Advanced Placement Drawing Portfolio

Studio Art class that develops a portfolio. Used for college admissions as well as documentation to the A.P. National College Board for college credit. Students should have a good foundation of art skills, as they will be working at college level and exploring complex studio techniques, art concepts, and art theories. Media development will focus on drawing and painting techniques and exploration. Students must also develop a personal theme for artwork topics. A workshop on how to make slides of artwork is included.
