This course is designed to provide students with information and practical experiences needed for the development of job related competencies. The students will be provided with laboratory experiences using commercial equipment, preparing food in quantity, serving food to the public. Training will be provided in the school lunch and through catering experiences. Seniors will compete in the C-Cap and the Pro-Start competitions for scholarships. The Pro-Start II curriculum will be followed.
