Curie Metropolitan High School – Advanced Electronics I

Learn the theoretical, conceptual and mathematical aspects of Solid State circuits and basic Digital electronics. The course will include hands-on experience in advanced analog and basic logic circuit construction, testing and troubleshooting, electronic circuit integration, packaging and project construction; training in basic personal computer repair and maintenance. Also included, will be a training session in the soldering and extraction of Surface Mounted Technology (SMT) component, and nondestructive SMT circuit board rework and repair. This training session will also emphasize protection standards used in industry to avoid circuit damage from Electrostatic Discharge (ESD). Students completing this training session will be awarded an industry based certification.
