Curie Metropolitan High School – Advanced Culinary Arts I

This course continues the learning in Food service 1 through an in school food service laboratory. More emphasis is placed on management skills, human relations, personal selection and supervision. Training experiences involve equipment and facilities that simulate those found in business and industry. This course will provide information for the student about the sanitation exams offered by the National Restaurant Association and the State of Illinois. Juniors will complete in the C-Cap competition. The Pro-Start 1 curriculum will be followed.
