In this entry-level course, students will increase their understanding of technology and the skills needed to operate the equipment most used in the business environment. Students will learn the basic concepts and procedures for using today's most popular business software, Microsoft Office 2000. Through the use of classroom instruction, students will receive skills for entry-level positions and prepare to continue their education in a post-secondary institution. Students will develop proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, database management, graphics, presentations, and desktop publishing applications.
