This advanced course focuses on students acquiring a deeper understanding of design principles and an elevated exploration of mixed media. This class builds on the foundational skills acquired in introductory art courses, challenging students to push the boundaries of creativity, innovation, and technical proficiency. Individually students will develop a series of projects that allow for personal exploration and experimentation while developing a strong conceptual foundation for historical and cultural implications. Collaboratively students will engage in critical discussions and curate an exhibit based on a chosen theme.
