County Administrative Annex – Latin II

Latin II continues to build on the foundations laid in Latin I. Students will begin to encounter more complex topics of the Latin language and will end the Year with the ability to understand more advanced Latin passages. As we progress through Latin II, we will hopefully continue to build on the students’ ability to express themselves in Latin, using more immersive experiences to help them understand Latin as a language. We will continue to explore English derivatives from Latin vocabulary. Our study of mythology and history will also continue to expand, covering topics such as the Trojan War, Greek heroes, and the founding and early days of Rome.
