Assuming a strong background in functions, the course will begin with the concept of limits and will proceed to differentiation and integration of algebraic, trigonometric, and transcendental functions, as well as the applications of these concepts. \*Students will be required, and will be prepared, to take the Advanced Placement Calculus AB Examination, with the goal of earning credit for and/or placement beyond a semester of college calculus. There is a fee to take this exam. Each student will be expected to bring a graphing calculator to class.\*
