For the past 11 years, I've had the pleasure of working with students of all agesfrom as young as 3 to over 50both online and in classrooms, as a tutor and teacher. My academic background is interdisciplinary, drawing from political science, sociology, history, anthropology, and human rights law. Two of my favorite areas to teach are EFL and history. I enjoy teaching EFL because language learning can open doors to new opportunities and cultural understanding, while history and political science are deeply connected to my career in human rights advocacy. I also have a passion for art history, having studied painting and drawing in college for three years. My teaching philosophy centers on being flexible and adaptive to the needs of my students. I believe in meeting them where they are, understanding their individual learning styles, and adjusting my approach accordingly. Whether it's through structured lessons or creative problem-solving, my goal is always to help students gain confidence and become independent learners.
